Cofely Besix Facility Management partners with 36 Strategies

Cofely Besix Facility Management (CBFM), recently announced their partnership with 36 Strategies, the fastest growing procurement solutions company in the Middle East. 

Over the past 3 months 36 Strategies has improved CBFM’s procurement and supply chain efficiency, thereby saving time and money by implementing an e-procurement platform called Insight Portal, and serving as a reliable supplier for over 800 products in 9 categories to sites across the UAE. 

“Since we have gone operational with 36 Strategies, CBFM has already realised significant improvement in lead time through more reliable deliveries. It has allowed us to reduce our inventory on site, and consequently improve our cash flow,” explains Ian Harfield, CEO of Cofely Besix Facility Management.

36 Strategies also reviewed the various items procured by CBFM, and identified duplicate or similar products purchased through different suppliers for different contracts. Going through a rigorous catalogue ‘clean up’ process, they were able to get rid of duplicates and redundancies, thereby delivering synergy and economies of scale across the business. 

36 Strategies uses a mobile app called Insight Mobile which complements the portal by sending a message as soon as a manager has received a purchasing request to approve. The manager is then able to check his remaining budget for the month before either tapping “Approve” or “Reject”, and when the “Approve” button is hit, an LPO is sent out to the supplier.

Cofely Besix employees can therefore complete their entire procurement cycle – from submitting a purchasing requisition for internal approvals to, sending LPO’s to suppliers in a matter of minutes, whereas the previous process could take up to weeks to process.
